Skills
- 5+ years building production software in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Experience with modern web frameworks such as Remix or Next.js
- Familiarity with backend development and building high-availability enterprise systems
- Ability to translate user needs into product features and balance UX with engineering constraints
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- U.S. Person status (required) to access export-controlled data
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship high-quality features across the Forge full stack (backend, frontend, and integrations).
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate user needs into reliable solutions.
- Write maintainable, testable code that improves performance, scalability, and system reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain integrations between cloud services and on-premise manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical support to Forge users.
- Take ownership of major components and mentor junior engineers.
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
