Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimization to increase production efficiency and reduce costs during development and pre-production.
- Monitor production budgets, track progress, and control costs to support transition to full-scale production.
- Provide regular status updates to engineering, supply chain, operations, and leadership on production attainment, risks, and mitigations.
- Allocate and manage materials, labor, and equipment to meet shift production goals and schedules.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate production risks and roadblocks impacting attainment.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to meet program timelines.
- Lead and mentor second-shift personnel, set priorities, and enforce production standards and safety.
- Implement and track production metrics, throughput improvements, and corrective actions.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (required)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance (required)
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA) or relevant certifications (preferred)
