Senior Electrical Sustainment Engineer
Skills
- Embedded electronics design and PCB update experience
- Hands-on use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, current probes, and debuggers
- Experience with microcontrollers (8- and 32-bit) and Linux-based SoCs
- Familiarity with communication buses (SPI, I2C) and Ethernet
- Power regulation design and validation skills
- Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent EDA tools
Responsibilities
- Manage product sustainment activities to support continuous production and fielded hardware
- Perform electrical design updates: component selection, schematic and PCB revisions, bring-up, and system integration
- Troubleshoot cross-domain issues spanning hardware and software using lab equipment and software debuggers
- Support sourcing and supply chain for long-lead and EOL components to maintain production
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers on product updates and feature requests
- Balance and drive multiple sustaining projects across various lifecycle stages
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Relevant industry training or continuous education in embedded hardware design is a plus
