Production Scheduler
Skills
- Production scheduling and work-order release
- ERP/MRP systems knowledge and practical usage
- Familiarity with Foundry or similar manufacturing applications
- Experience with schedule analysis, critical path, and variance tracking
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to develop metrics and tie production to business goals
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules derived from the integrated Master Schedule
- Release and prioritize work orders to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly attainment targets
- Communicate daily priorities to production coordinators, team leads, and supervisors
- Provide daily visibility, weekly status updates, and monthly schedule performance reviews
- Analyze metrics tying production performance to enterprise goals and recommend adjustments
- Perform critical path analysis, variance analysis, and schedule baseline change control
- Coordinate support from inspection, testing, engineering, and supply chain to meet deliverables
- Use Foundry and other scheduling/MRP tools to ensure accurate prioritization and resource allocation
- Lead root-cause analysis during builds and implement permanent resolutions
- Identify and drive process automation and efficiency improvement opportunities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of manufacturing scheduling experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Familiarity or training in Lean/continuous improvement is beneficial
