Mission Systems Software Lead
Skills
- 6+ years writing production software, C or C++ preferred
- Experience with mission systems standards (OMS/UCI, Link 16) and government reference architectures
- Systems architecture and interface definition for complex mission systems
- Experience with cyber and safety-related software requirements
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate integration events
- Active U.S. Top Secret clearance (current and maintainable)
Responsibilities
- Architect and define mission software system boundaries, interfaces, and integration points
- Organize and scope integration events, including deliverables and program impact
- Establish and drive cross-discipline sprint initiatives to unblock teams and deliver features
- Develop prototype and production software for high-risk technical areas
- Drive software requirements and specifications with cyber and safety considerations
- Own and maintain the software roadmap with milestone tracking against program deliverables
- Author technical documents, white papers, and customer-facing reports
- Present technical trade studies and system performance to customers and stakeholders
Education
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
