Skills
- Strong software engineering across multiple languages (Python, C++, Java, Go, Rust, JavaScript)
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and model deployment
- Building and operating data pipelines and MLOps tooling (Kubeflow, MLflow, Metaflow)
- Working knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and systems integration
- Debugging, performance analysis, and telemetry/monitoring implementation
- Ability to rapidly understand large, complex codebases and make pragmatic tradeoffs
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end software solutions deployed to customers, including ML models and inference pipelines
- Write, review, and maintain production-quality code to scale mission capabilities
- Collaborate across product, hardware, and field teams to plan, build, and test complex features
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for training and inference
- Create and analyze metrics used for debugging, monitoring, and performance evaluation
- Triage issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate remediation and next steps
- Partner with end-users to translate operational needs into practical features and tradeoffs
- Travel up to 30% for field integration, testing, and deployments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Graduate degree in a related technical field is advantageous but not required
