Skills
- Expertise in RF payload integrations and antenna/EM theory
- Hands-on RF test, EMI/EMC testing, and V&V experience
- Experience with platform integrations for aircraft or UAS
- Data analysis and rapid prototyping skills
- Familiarity with IMUs, control servos, and basic aerodynamics impacts on system performance
- Ability to engage technically across ME/EE/FW/SW disciplines
- Strong verbal and written communication with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Design and execute RF systems testing and in-field validation
- Integrate RF payloads onto aircraft and UAS platforms and lead platform integration activities
- Specify ancillary RF equipment and perform co-site and EMI/EMC analysis
- Develop and carry out end-to-end verification & validation plans
- Perform hands-on, in-field testing and rapid prototyping to support early customer deployments
- Coordinate technical efforts across mechanical, electrical, firmware, sensor, and software teams
- Prepare and present trade studies and technical briefings to stakeholders and customers
- Travel for test planning and execution (approximately 70% travel expected)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with emphasis in RF/EM
- Relevant technical coursework or experience in antenna theory, RF systems, or electromagnetic compatibility
