- Comfortable working hands-on on the factory floor (stooping, bending, standing)
- ITAR eligibility (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or ability to obtain required authorizations
Responsibilities
- Design and own factory and production area layouts emphasizing clear visual indicators and linear flow
- Conduct vendor job walks, negotiate pricing, and enforce schedules
- Host process walks to identify simplification and elimination opportunities and lead implementation
- Plan and execute complex projects quickly and cost-effectively
- Work hands-on on the factory floor and lead by example to complete projects
- Develop system and process improvements across production teams
- Create analytical tools to model delivery, capacity, and cost to inform decisions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma) are beneficial
