Skills
- BS or higher in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline
- Experience creating complex mechanical designs using CAD tools (NX preferred)
- Prior experience in explosive operations and/or handling munitions
- Experience preparing engineering documentation (specs, test procedures, reports, drawings)
- Ability to travel for testing (surges up to ~25%)
- Eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on design of warheads and complex munitions systems
- Rapidly create and iterate high-fidelity prototype parts for field evaluation
- Plan and support ground and flight test campaigns, including safety and vendor coordination
- Assemble and disassemble explosive test articles and precision targets
- Capture, compile, and analyze test data; produce engineering reports and documentation
Education
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering required
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
