Responsibilities
- Own system-level integration across mechanical, electrical, and thermal subsystems for Sentry towers
- Develop and refine integration flows that decompose systems into subassemblies and repeatable assembly sequences
- Provide DFI/DFM feedback to Design, Electrical, and Systems Engineering during releases
- Design and implement fixtures, digital work instructions, and modular tooling to reduce variability
- Lead readiness reviews and interface control checks to resolve fit, alignment, and mating issues
- Create build documentation including torque specs, cable routing, alignment procedures, and inspection criteria
- Maintain configuration control for multi-level BOMs and track effectivity, revisions, and interchangeability
- Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to validate subsystem builds before system integration
- Drive continuous improvement in sequencing, ergonomics, and tooling through hands-on observation and technician feedback
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant manufacturing or systems engineering certifications and training are a plus
