Senior Industrial Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years in high-rate manufacturing or supply chain roles building complex mechanical/electrical assemblies
- Factory and production line design, including Value Stream Mapping and one-piece/continuous flow
- Material flow systems design (Kanban, pull systems, part presentation, lineside storage)
- Experience with digital production simulation tools (Siemens Plant Simulation/Process Simulation or equivalent)
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS and MES systems
- Lean Manufacturing implementation experience
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD, and familiarity with electronics and mechanical manufacturing processes
- Strong data analysis skills for large datasets and production metrics
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain capacity models and production ramp plans for labor, CAPEX, workstations, and throughput
- Design facility layouts and production lines using CAD and discrete event simulation to meet process and productivity targets
- Identify production bottlenecks and variability drivers and lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve them
- Use data-driven methods to improve throughput, quality, and asset utilization
- Own manufacturing health reporting and provide actionable inputs to Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Growth
- Maintain a current digital twin/virtual factory as a reference model for performance assessment
- Lead production line and workstation design for low-rate and full-rate production using Value Stream Mapping and Line Balancing
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred (industrial, mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, electrical, computer) — equivalent experience accepted
