Skills
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, function generators, and DAQ
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets
- Strong root cause analysis and component-level troubleshooting skills
- Experience with test automation and improving test repeatability
- Familiarity with product development lifecycle, reliability, and compliance testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and pivot between tasks in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Setup, execute, and analyze test experiments per test procedures and record findings into test records
- Build and assemble test harnesses, racks, fixtures, and environmental setups
- Update and automate test systems to improve consistency and coverage per engineering direction
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems to the component level
- Maintain, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical test equipment
- Create assembly instructions, bills of materials, test plans, user instructions, and manuals
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety/compliance procedures
- Travel to external test sites and laboratories as required
Education
- Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or related field (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
