Responsibilities
- Design and develop vessel subsystems including structures, controls, electrical power, and fluid systems
- Oversee integration, activation, and certification efforts at shipyard and home port locations
- Lead safe system checkouts for vessel power and dynamic systems and support troubleshooting during flight campaigns
- Develop system documentation including regulatory submissions, operations manuals, and training materials
- Provide engineering support for offshore programs including vehicle transport logistics and mission support
- Coordinate with classification societies, USCG, contractors, and cross-functional teams for compliance and operational readiness
- Manage engineering tasks, budgets, schedules, and executive reporting related to vessel programs
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related STEM field
- Relevant professional training or certifications in marine systems or vessel operations preferred
