What You'll Do
- Perform structural modeling, analysis, and design for gravity and lateral design of structures, including concrete, masonry, and steel members.
- Produce construction documents for new design and restoration projects.
- Perform site visits to observe construction.
- Assist with restoration projects for existing structures.
What You Bring
Education Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering or from an ABET-accredited University, a Master's degree is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Strong computer, writing, time management, communication, and team skills are necessary.
- Solid knowledge of structural engineering.
- Engineering Intern or Engineering in Training Certification, or the ability to obtain it.
- 3+ years of experience in structural design of precast, large multifamily residential, hotel/hospitality, and/or parking.
Coursework:
- Structural Analysis, Concrete Design, and Structural Steel Design
Compensation & Benefits
At Walker Consultants, we are committed to maintaining fairness and equity in our pay practices. For this role, the estimated base salary range is $80,000 – $110,000 per year. The final salary offered may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
