· Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, amendments, purchase orders, and change orders.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including Connecticut procurement and construction regulations.
· Certify and maintain payroll records in accordance with prevailing wage and labor compliance requirements.
· Collaborate with project teams to interpret contract terms, resolve disputes, and mitigate risks.
· Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure all parties remain in compliance.
· Assist in preparing RFPs, RFQs, bid documents, and contract award packages.
· Maintain accurate contract documentation, records, and reporting systems.
· Support claims management and coordinate with legal counsel on disputes when necessary.
· Provide guidance and training to project managers and staff on contract procedures and best practices.
· Develop and implement standard contract templates and workflows to improve efficiency.
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (required).
· Minimum 2–5 years of experience in contract administration or management within the construction industry.
· Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods, contract law, and construction-related regulations in Connecticut.
· Experience with payroll certification and labor compliance tracking.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and risk assessment abilities.
· Familiarity with AIA contract documents and state/federal construction procurement requirements.
· Experience with public sector or DOT contracts in Connecticut.
