The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a detail-driven Accounting Clerk to join our Henderson, NV office, specializing in Accounts Receivable (AR). This role handles the full AR cycle—including payment applications, collections, account investigations, and aging report analysis. If you're a proactive problem solver who thrives in team-centered environments, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Receive and apply customer payments, including cash in-shop and checks, deposit cash into the local bank
- Manage timely and accurate collections
- Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies
- Issue refunds and process credits
- Research billing issues and provide account-level support
- Prepare and analyze weekly aging reports by business unit
- Collaborate across internal departments to address inquiries, resolve account-related issues, and ensure seamless management of customer accounts
- Providing backup support for Accounts Payable and Billing department
- Post journal entries related to AR corrections and adjustments
- Take on additional duties and projects assigned by Controller
Requirements
Who You Are:
- Deep understanding of AR processes
- Skilled in Excel and platforms like Sage Intacct and ServiceTitan
- Clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal
- Organized and dependable with strong follow-through
- Thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Motivated self-starter who takes pride in team success
- Positive attitude with adaptability and willingness to support other departments
- Accountable and independent—comfortable working with minimal onsite supervision, with remote manager support via Teams and periodic office visits
