- Expertise in federal tax compliance for partnerships (1065 forms)
- Strong Excel skills
- Understanding of multi-tiered real estate partnership structures and allocations
- Ability to coordinate tax filings and compliance processes
Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and coordinate federal and state income tax returns for 140 partnerships
- Distribute over 18,000 K-1s to investors by the March 15th deadline
- Calculate and prepare journal entries for book/tax differences
- Oversee business personal property tax filings
- Assist with monthly and quarterly state filings
- Coordinate filing of Federal and State withholding forms
- Support VP of Tax and Treasury by liaising with outside CPA’s and consultants
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification required
