DevSecOps Engineer (Anticipated)
Skills
- Hands-on AWS services and networking experience
- Proven use of IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Production experience with Kubernetes/EKS and Docker
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD best practices and pipeline automation
- Experience integrating security tooling: SBOMs, vuln scanning, SAST/DAST, dependency management
- Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Familiarity with CI systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience working on Agile teams and open-source or collaborative environments
- Familiarity and responsible use of AI-assisted developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, release, rollback across multiple environments
- Define and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) for AWS resources
- Implement and operate container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) and Docker workflows
- Integrate automated security testing, SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, and compliance reporting into pipelines
- Monitor pipeline health and infrastructure performance; produce metrics for continuous improvement
- Develop reusable scripts, components, and services following modern software engineering practices
- Advocate and evangelize DevSecOps culture through demos, communities of practice, and participation in recruiting and interviews
- Continuously evaluate and experiment with emerging cloud, AI, and automation technologies to improve developer experience and system resilience
- Support outreach, recruitment, business development activities, and other engineering practice needs as required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience); Agile Six will adjust experience requirements based on degree type
- Degree is flexible—relevant experience may substitute for formal education
