Responsibilities
- Design and document system and database architecture aligned with business and technical requirements
- Produce high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and integration patterns
- Lead and guide software development teams in implementing scalable, maintainable systems
- Ensure solutions meet federal security, accessibility (Section 508), and performance standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose optimized solutions
- Conduct design reviews and recommend cross-platform and application improvements
- Support DevSecOps integration, data interoperability, and cloud-native architecture planning
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimization and modernization strategies
- Participate in Agile development lifecycle and contribute to technology roadmap planning
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline required
- Or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
