Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated full-time IT Facilities Project Manager to join the IT Facilities Team. This role will support real estate initiatives including new site developments, co-locations, and closures across North America and Canada. The PM will collaborate closely with the Real Estate team and outsourced IT providers to ensure seamless execution of IT components within real estate projects.

This position will offer some flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work, to be based in either Houston or Dallas, TX with travel required up to 20%, including occasional weekend travel, based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT activity schedules to align with real estate construction timelines.
  • Collaborate with IT technical teams to assess project requirements and design optimal solutions.
  • Schedule and lead meetings with IT and Real Estate stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
  • Develop project plans and documentation using provided templates; ensure proper project closeout documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation on SharePoint and OneNote.
  • Report project status, risks, mitigation plans, and follow-up actions to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of the projects.
  • Provide end-to-end accountability for IT deliverables supporting capital construction and refresh projects.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision and provide regular updates to the project team.
  • Ensure resolution of post go-live issues before project closure.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and self-motivation.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS plus at least 8 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience (Servers, Storage, Network, Telephony, A/V) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Proven ability to lead multiple, overlapping projects and teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Visio.
  • Position requires individual to bend, squat or kneel, with or without accommodation, and lift up to 40 lbs unassisted for the physical installation of switches, services and PDUs into the server/network rack.
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate a screwdriver and install screws during physical installation of switches

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with office space design, particularly MDF and technology layout, is a plus.
  • Experience with capital construction, HVAC, and power systems is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with managed service provider teams
