We are looking for a business coach to join our team.

We work a remote, and while we can accommodate candidates in states where we already operate, candidates local to the Phoenix area will be given priority.

(Eligible states are: AZ, NM, OR, NV, CO, TX, MN, WI, OK, FL, TN, NC, MI, IN, OH, GA)

About this role:

The Business Coach plays a critical role in accelerating the performance and growth of business leaders at Garage Door Freedom. This role provides one-on-one and group coaching to help owners and leaders strengthen their business acumen, operational discipline, and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate is an experienced coach, advisor, or operator with a strong understanding of home service businesses and a passion for helping others achieve success.

You will be responsible for things like:

· Coaching owners, managers, and team leads on key business drivers including revenue growth, profitability, operational excellence, and leadership development

· Developing personalized coaching plans aligned to individual business goals and performance metrics

· Analyzing business performance reports to identify opportunities and challenges; guide clients through data-informed decision making

· Delivering structured coaching sessions virtually and in-person (as needed)

· Facilitating workshops and learning experiences on topics such as sales, customer service, financial management, and team leadership

· Partnering with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure consistent messaging and aligned support

· Tracking progress and outcomes using standardized tools, dashboards, and KPIs

· Providing candid, growth-oriented feedback and accountability to drive continuous improvement

· Contributing to the development of resources, playbooks, and best practices for the network

· Attending national industry events to network, build relationships (20% travel)

Basic Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience in coaching, consulting, business ownership, or senior-level operations (Home services experience is a hard requirement)

· Proven ability to coach and influence business owners and frontline leaders

· Strong understanding of P&L, KPIs, and operational levers that drive business success

· Excellent communication, listening, and facilitation skills

· Highly organized and able to manage multiple coaching relationships and business cycles

· Comfortable using business tools and CRM or coaching platforms

· Coaching certification a plus, but not required

· Ability to travel (about 20%) to related industry events

· Eligible to work in the united states (this role does not sponsor work visas)

Interview process:

· A 45-minute recruiter screen

· A 45-minute Hiring manager interview with VP of BD

· A potential final interview with our COO
