We’re looking for a Content Marketing Engineer. This is a hybrid and hands-on role for someone who loves writing, editing, and building the processes that make great content that helps customers.
You’ll write and edit high-quality content yourself: blog posts, landing pages, email campaigns, webinar copy. You’ll also design the content system that helps prospective customers discover Zip Security. That means defining our editorial standards, connecting tools, and working with AI platforms, SEO vendors, and analytics tools to scale our reach and impact.

Write and edit exceptional content: create blogs, guides, landing pages, emails, webinars, and social posts that explain complex security topics clearly.
Develop and own Zip Security's content style guide: define tone, formatting, structure, and voice to ensure consistency across all channels.
Design and optimize content workflows: streamline the process from ideation and creation through editing, publishing, and measurement.
Manage AI and SEO vendor relationships: partner with AI writing platforms, SEO firms, and freelancers to scale content output without sacrificing quality.
Build and manage content systems: evaluate and implement tools like AirOps or Writer to automate briefs, track production, and manage approvals.
Collaborate across teams: work with growth and product marketing to align content with messaging, campaigns, and customer needs.
Measure and optimize performance: track reach, engagement, conversion, and pipeline impact, then refine what's working.
Support go-to-market campaigns: create and distribute content for email, paid channels, organic search, events, and webinars.

Zip Security's style guide is defined and applied consistently across all content.
A repeatable content workflow is established from idea to publication in under two weeks.
High-quality content is published consistently across blogs, emails, and campaigns.
Strong partnerships with AI and SEO vendors increase output while maintaining tone and accuracy.
Data-driven insights shape future content. Every piece has a clear, measurable goal.
4–6 years in content marketing or content strategy, ideally at a B2B SaaS company.
Exceptional writing and editing skills: you can simplify complex or technical topics without losing precision.
Operational mindset: you've built scalable content processes and workflows before.
Familiarity with AI writing tools, SEO platforms, or content automation systems.
Comfortable working with analytics and performance metrics to guide optimization.
Collaborative and cross-functional: you work well with design, growth, and product teams.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and consistency.
