Media Buyer - job 1 of 2

As a Media Buyer, you will be responsible for executing media campaigns to reach targeted audiences effectively. You will work closely with the internal teams to understand campaign objectives, develop media strategies, analyze performance, and make data-driven optimizations. This role requires a strong understanding of media trends, and the ability to leverage data insights to achieve the best possible ROI for their clients.

In this position, you will create and manage lead gen campaigns across a variety of mediums including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Search, and more. Our client has a suite of processes, tools, and proprietary campaign methodology that has proven to win. You will be trained on their media buying methods and add your expertise to continuously refine the model. A successful candidate will have experience with media buying across all digital media, a strong desire to grow, and a champion’s mindset. Our client is on pace to spend $30M USD in ad spend this year.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive media strategies aligned with campaign objectives and budgets.
  • Identify target audiences and select appropriate media channels to maximize campaign reach and effectiveness.
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to inform media buying decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimizations.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to make informed decisions on media placements and audience targeting.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to secure advantageous partnerships.
  • Work closely with the creative team to align ad content with the media strategy and ensure brand consistency.
  • Track media expenditures and manage budgets to ensure adherence to financial goals and reporting requirements.

Salary: $2500 / month

Type of Work: Full-time remote

Work Schedule: USA business hours

  • In depth background in a remote set-up of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor (deep understanding on the pros & cons involved in this industry).
  • 3+ years experience in direct-response copywriting
  • Proven experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar role within the advertising industry.
  • Familiarity with media buying software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest media and advertising trends.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI
  • Reliable internet connection and consistent availability during designated hours.
