Product Marketing Manager, API
Skills
- Strong product and developer marketing experience in SaaS or AI infrastructure.
- Ability to translate complex technical features into benefit-focused storytelling.
- Understanding of developer needs as well as product and CTO priorities.
- Experience building marketing strategies that drive pipeline and adoption.
- Knowledge of API ecosystems, SDKs, and usage-based monetization models.
- Familiarity with API tools like Postman, Swagger, RapidAPI preferred.
- Experience with GTM models such as self-serve trials and enterprise co-sell.
Responsibilities
- Own positioning and messaging for API offerings including Web, News, Search, ARI, RAG.
- Define and segment target developer and enterprise audiences such as developer relations, CTOs, and platform leads.
- Build and launch developer-facing technical content like landing pages, case studies, blog posts, and API documentation.
- Partner with sales to create GTM collateral including battlecards, pitch decks, and competitive benchmarks.
- Drive developer adoption through tutorials, webinars, demos, and community engagement.
- Execute account-based marketing campaigns targeting high-value technical buyers.
- Shape API monetization strategy including trial funnels, usage-based pricing and free tier optimization.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
