POSITION SUMMARY:

World Relief seeks a....

A work study aide will assist caseworkers with serving World Relief Durham's most vulnerable clients and help these clients achieve their goals, and ultimately, self-sufficiency. This position is only for a work study funded student from Duke University.

• A work study aide actively supports the resettlement of newly arrived refugees, SIVs and Afghan Humanitarian Parolees.
• Case management aides will serve clients enrolled in extended case management for medical vulnerabilities.
• Case management aides work directly with the resettlement team, providing administrative support, assisting clients with community orientation, and providing transportation for clients’ appointments

• Case management aides must be detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and flexible.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to transport clients in WRD vehicles required.
• All student workers and interns receive training in World Relief Durham's policies and procedures when they start work.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Preferred cross cultural experience
• Bilingual preferred
