Skills
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React or equivalent modern stack
- Hands-on experience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing infrastructure, and feature flagging systems
- Experience building product features for scaled users and/or revenue
- Familiarity with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis and Kubernetes
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical tradeoffs
- Data-informed decision making and strong product sense
- Experience mentoring and collaborating across teams
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product to refine requirements, write technical specs, and deliver features from concept to launch
- Collaborate with Design to create intuitive, delightful user experiences across TV and connected devices
- Design and run rapid, data-driven experiments (A/B tests) to improve acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization
- Make key technical decisions balancing architectural health and rapid iteration
- Mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, and performance
- Own parts of the full stack and contribute to cross-functional delivery with product, design, and data analysts
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to work on-site in the Bay Area 2–3 days per week (or relocate)
