The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a world-class commercial organisation experiencing tremendous growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core solutions. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments. There is a rapid shift from plastic to digital credentials within the B2B payments ecosystem, mirroring and building upon the same shift within consumer payments over the past decade. We are seeking a leader who can navigate ambiguity to identify B2B payment solutions to solve for clients’ and partners’ business problems and drive opportunities to advance the VCS business.

We are transforming the commercial payments landscape and looking for a Director, B2B Solution Design to provide technical solutioning for client and partner opportunities, new use cases, and strategic priorities. Focus areas will be virtual cards, API and FinTech integration, embedded payments, and Agentic Commerce.

Partner with Sales and solution teams in region to close deals, identify best-in-class ways to implement existing products to solve new business problems and capture requirements for areas that require development.
Mentor and lead team members on solutioning best practices, consulting with clients / partners, B2B payments, and product capabilities
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Basic Qualifications
-10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Strong understanding of B2B payments with in-depth knowledge of virtual card payments, value-added solutions for corporates, payment tokenization, and issuer processing platforms/providers
- Extensive experience with modern API concepts, technical integration, and file delivery
- Proven ability to lead a range of initiatives end-to-end to meet client commitments with a customer-centric orientation
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex initiatives in a matrixed and distributed global organization
- Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and executive presence. Must be self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, and have the ability to influence across multiple levels and organizations including internal and external stakeholders
- Adept strategic thinker, problem solver and results-oriented pragmatist
- Strong oral and written communications as well as influencing and negotiation skills. Able to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organized manner
- Willingness to take on new challenges, explore new ideas and be flexible with changing priorities

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 176,400.00 to 256,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
