Sr. Merchandise Manager Product, Collabs & Energy
We are seeking a Senior Merchandising Manager to lead the merchandising function for the Collaborations and Energy team. In this role you will be responsible for the end-to-end merchandising strategy, product creation, and go-to-market readiness for all collaboration initiatives—spanning performance and lifestyle, cross categories.
You will be key in bringing together brand vision, commercial goals, and operational excellence. It requires someone with deep merchandising expertise, strong understanding of how collaborations operate in the fashion industry, and the ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
Strong business acumen, creativity, and the ability to drive culturally relevant, brand-elevating product initiatives are crucial. You will sit at the intersection of product, culture, and commerce, driving assortment planning, distribution strategy, and partnership success across global markets.
You will report to the Director of Design, Collaborations & Energy.
How You Will Make a Difference
What You Will Do:
Lead the global merchandising strategy and seasonal product creation for all TNF collaborations, across both performance and lifestyle categories.
Build and deliver seasonal product briefs in partnership with design and development teams, aligned with brand and partner vision.
Own assortment planning and global segmentation strategies by consumer, channel, and tier.
Define and recommend marketplace distribution strategies (e.g., internal DTC vs. partner-exclusive launches) for each collaboration.
Analyze brand partner fit, performance, and cultural relevance to identify new opportunities in the collaboration pipeline.
Serve as the central point of contact across all internal functions, ensuring merchandising alignment with product, marketing, and GTM teams (global supply planning, logistics, and customer service teams). Own merchandising input for contracts, calendars, and internal tools.
Helping place and manage collaboration buys and monitoring supply status from the buy to launch.
Support the broader Go-To-Market execution with impactful storytelling and merchandising tools.
Manage and coach one direct report, contributing to the growth and development of talent within the team.
Skills for Success
Educational Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Years of Related Professional Experience:
7+ years in merchandising, with at least 2 years in the collaborations or fashion partnerships space preferred.

Familiarity with partner marketplaces, and the strategic reasoning behind where and how to launch collaborative products

Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and timelines across product, marketing, and operations
Product Creation & Merchandising Strategy
Own and drive the seasonal merchandising strategy for all collaborations globally
Build product briefs and lead collaboration with Design and Development teams to deliver compelling assortments
Define line architecture, segmentation, and distribution strategy by channel, consumer, and region
Ensure product vision aligns with both brand direction and partner expectations
Assess partner and product fit from both a cultural and commercial standpoint
Business Operations & Cross-Functional Leadership
Manage merchandising deliverables across legal, finance, product operations, and marketing teams
Own merchandising input for contracts, calendars, and internal tools
Act as the primary merchandising point of contact across all collab workstreams
Recommend sell-in and launch strategies (e.g., brand-owned DTC, partner exclusives, limited distribution, etc.)
Ensure merchandising alignment across internal stakeholders at each GTM milestone
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and coach one direct report
Contribute to scaling and evolving the collaborations merchandising function
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
7+ years in merchandising, product management, or brand partnerships
Strong understanding of fashion collaborations and how they operate within a brand context
Experience building assortments, writing product briefs, and working cross-functionally across creative and commercial teams
Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to make strategic channel and segmentation decisions
Excellent communication and presentation skills across functions and leadership levels
Experience managing timelines, legal/milestone contracts, and merchandising workflows
Preferred:
Experience in the fashion, outdoor, or sportswear industries
Working knowledge of partner marketplaces (wholesale, DTC, exclusive drops)

Hiring Range:
$116,640.00 USD - $145,800.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
