Lovevery is looking for an Associate, Product Development to join the Physical Product Development team. An Associate will support Product Development Managers (PDM) with daily tasks, especially with creation of accompanying printed materials for new products, and in-depth interactions with cross functional teams required to bring the products from concept to reality through a fast paced, cross-functional product development cycle. Cross functional teams include Graphic Designers, Photo Creation, Marketing, Content Creation, Design and Engineering, Sourcing, and Operations. This position will report directly to the Product Development Manager.

*This position is onsite at our Boise, Idaho headquarters. Remote candidates will not be considered for this role.*

Job Description:

  • Support Product Development Managers for the daily operations to bring new products to market
  • Work closely with overseas Sourcing and Engineering teams to track sample deliveries
  • Manage the creation of Play Guides and Game Instructions by working with writers, Product Team, and Creative Team (Graphic designers, Photo Producers, and Photo Retouchers etc.)
  • Work with Quality, Compliance, Packaging Engineers, and Graphics Team to create necessary Warning and Instructions sheets and distribution packaging materials
  • Manage creation and/or acquisition of outsourced product assets such as illustrations or stock photos
  • Coordinate with Marketing Team for creating marketing materials
  • Manage work tickets in Asana and artwork file revision controls
  • Create SKUs and drive replacement parts planning with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, and Customer Experience
  • Create Product Description sheets for new products and keep them up to date
  • Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Quality and Compliance teams to ensure the products meet the global regulatory requirements
  • Manage translations of printed items and maintain the translation database for our global markets
  • Communicate product details to Customer Experience (CX) team

Attributes:

  • Experience working with physical products
  • Experience in managing the creation of printed materials including copy, photos and illustrations is a plus
  • Interest in working with operation teams and overseas manufacturers
  • Extreme attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to work and remain adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and group facilitation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with all Lovevery product lines, including all of the printed materials included in physical products
  • Familiarity with using Adobe Illustrator is a plus
  • Empathy and intuition for parents, caregivers, and young children
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
