Sr. Product Manager, AI Document Management

As a Senior Product Manager at Vanta, you will be responsible for the compliance document management vertical of the Vanta Agent, guiding customers to generate and maintain compliance documents tailored to their business through AI powered workflows. Today, this process is slow, manual, and often stressful for companies. These documents are foundational to how a company’s security program operates—requiring customers to interpret multiple compliance requirements, establish processes, and define how those processes run, all while ensuring they will meet auditor expectations. By guiding and automating document creation, you will help customers dramatically shorten the path to audit readiness and build confidence that their processes and documentation are aligned to their business needs.

The Vanta Agent team is building the future of security and compliance management at Vanta. Our vision is for the Agent to become the default way customers run their programs: always-on, context-aware, explainable, and safe. Instead of navigating through pages to discover what to do next, the Agent proactively prompts customers with recommendations, backed by clear justification, that can be accepted in one-click. The Agent delivers integrated AI-powered workflows that transform historically manual, time-consuming compliance processes and document creation into tasks completed in minutes, ensuring clarity and confidence in the results.

What you’ll do as a Senior Product Manager at Vanta:

  • Own the document & policies creation workflows and build the Agent features to automate those processes

  • Help customers evolve their security programs by building Agent workflows for surfacing recommendations and completing relevant actions

  • Deeply understand our customers and market, and translate their needs into clear Agent experiences that solve real compliance challenges

  • Partner with design and engineering to establish consistent interaction patterns—across chat, inline actions, and background automations—that make the Agent reliable, explainable, and safe

  • Shape and scale the Agent’s interoperability: building the catalog of tools and integrations that enable meaningful, trusted actions across Vanta

  • Deliver high-quality products that addresses key customer pain points and establishes Vanta’s leadership in AI powered GRC solutions

  • Help define and shape Vanta’s product team culture as we grow

How to be successful in this role:

  • Have 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality SaaS/B2B and AI products

  • Have strong technical skills and experience working directly with LLMs, including writing and iterating on prompts, evaluating outputs, and driving systematic quality improvements

  • Possess a customer-focused mindset– proactively reach out to customers, synthesize feedback, and partner with go-to-market teams

  • Be deeply curious, empathetic, and user-centric, with a knack for driving effective collaboration among diverse stakeholders

  • Communicate with clarity and influence—both written and verbal—with team members, stakeholders, and executives

  • Have a learner’s mindset, a genuine passion for building AI products, and the grit to experiment, iterate, and fail

  • Have a deep interest in and knowledge of the evolving AI/ML ecosystem

  • Be data driven– you lean into qual signals from users and can dig into the quant side to inform roadmap & prioritization

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors and may vary based on candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials.
