Job Details:
The McCombs Master of Science Programs Marketing Intern will assist the admissions and marketing teams on several projects related to marketing of the Master of Science Programs.
Content Development
Work alongside the admissions and marketing team and provide feedback on the development of a social media posting schedule
Edit videos for use on MSPO website and social media pages
Auditing the MSPO website, providing feedback on design improvements
Refreshing the MSPO blog design
Creating content for social media, MSPO website, and MSPO blog
Assisting the team in drafting written content for communication to prospective applicants
Other tasks as assigned relating to marketing content and data analysis
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be a University of Texas at Austin student, enrolled for at least 6 credit hours.
Experience in graphic design (Canva preferred, other platforms welcome)
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects within established time frames
Ability to effectively communicate and present ideas, recommendations, and data stories
Experience working within social media marketing
Able to work as part of a team while taking the lead on individual tasks
Learning marketing, communications, or related fields
Strong writing skills
Significant exposure to digital marketing
Experience editing video content for use on social media
Experience working with blogs (Wordpress preferred)
Experience auditing websites and drafting web content

Works in standard office conditions, in a shared office environment
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
This is an Austin, TX based position and is eligible for remote work
Up to 10 hours per week (hours may vary from week to week)
Shared workspace available in the MS Programs Office, or remote work is also allowed
Weekly in-person check-ins with Senior Recruitment Officer (day/time TBD)
