USC’s Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising is seeking a Transfer Student Support Coordinator to join its team. This position is dedicated to supporting the overall success of undergraduate students, with a specialized focus on the unique needs of Dornsife transfer students.
The Dornsife Transfer Student Support Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and programs that help transfer students transition into Dornsife College, build a sense of belonging, and thrive in their academic and personal journeys. At the core of this work is providing individualized support through proactive outreach, personalized guidance, and thoughtful problem-solving. The coordinator serves as an advocate, connector, and resource for both incoming and continuing transfer students. The role also involves close collaboration with campus partners, including Dornsife undergraduate academic advisors, and the planning and execution of events and initiatives that foster community and promote student success throughout the Dornsife transfer experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a demonstrated commitment to student advocacy, a genuine interest in supporting transfer students, and a strong working knowledge of transfer student trends.
Hourly range: The hourly rate range for this position is $29.68 - $33. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
