RailSpur Co-Working Community Associate

About Us

Urban Villages Inc. is a mission-driven real estate development and investment company committed to creating sustainable and impactful properties. We believe in harmonizing planet with profit and delivering remarkable outcomes through innovative solutions. Our team thrives on being problem solvers and innovators, demanding rigor in all we do to deliver significant impact. As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate individuals who share our commitment to these core principles.

RailSpur Studios

RailSpur Studios is a seven-level workplace located in a refurbished historic warehouse in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of downtown Seattle. It has been designed for individuals and organizations who value creativity, clarity, and care in how they work. The space includes two full floors of co-working space, two full floors of office space, a mixed-use floor containing artist studios plus a shared open space & common area with pop-up activations, and two floors of the newest penthouse event space in Seattle. The building is set within a restored historic structure in the heart of the RailSpur project; the Studios are part of a larger vision: a connected, mixed-use ecosystem that blends workspace, hospitality, public gathering, culinary experiences, creative culture, and independent retail. RailSpur Studios is its working core, a place for people who think across disciplines and timeframes, and who understand that how something is made matters just as much as what it becomes. This is not a single-use space. It’s a layered, flexible, vertically integrated environment designed to support the full arc of working life, from early ideas to structured development to long-term stewardship.

Position Overview

At RailSpur Studios, we believe memorable days start with inspiring people, and as our Co-Working Community Associate, you’ll set that tone every morning. You’re the first smile our members see, the energy that fills the room, and the steady hand that keeps our shared spaces running smoothly. This role is for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, creates meaningful connections, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll be equally comfortable welcoming high-profile guests, brewing coffee, planning creative events, and keeping our space looking its best. Every detail you touch helps shape an atmosphere that feels intentional, warm, and inspired.

    • Being the first point of contact when a client experiences a service issue and providing direction on a resolution.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with current members.
    • Create meaningful and relevant connections between members. You are the central hub of the workspace and have a unique opportunity to build community within the space.
  • Event Management
    • Lead the hands-on planning and execution of inspired and unique events for our members in collaboration with the neighboring and partner businesses (2-4 events / month)
    • Marketing and promoting events to ensure member and outside participation as applicable.
