Position Summary
The Director, Así Sports is a senior leader responsible for driving incremental sports revenue through strategic, multi-platform sponsorship solutions. This role owns the development of integrated marketing programs from concept through execution, serves as a senior client-facing partner, and leads a team of Managers responsible for delivering high-impact campaigns across

TelevisaUnivision’s sports portfolio.

Reporting to the Vice President, Así Sports Strategy, the Director brings a consultative, creative, and solutions-oriented approach to shaping the Así Sports value proposition. The role works cross-functionally across Sales, Strategy & Insights, Creative, Production, and Sports Integrations to ensure programs are innovative, scalable, and flawlessly executed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Own and drive incremental sports revenue by developing best-in-class, multi-platform sponsorship solutions across linear, digital, social, experiential, signage, and IP-based opportunities
•    Serve as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership and key clients, leading senior-level pitch meetings and positioning Así Sports as a long-term marketing partner
•    Identify white-space opportunities across the sports portfolio and proactively develop scalable platforms aligned to brand and category needs
•    Lead and oversee two Managers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance oversight across pre-sale and post-sale responsibilities
•    Act as a senior liaison across Network, Digital & Social Media Sales, Strategy & Insights, Research, Local Media, Creative Services, Business Development, Production, Experiential, and Content teams
•    Partner closely with the Sports Integrations team to oversee seamless execution and delivery against client objectives
•    Oversee proposal development, production book build-out, timelines, campaign maintenance, and post-campaign recaps
•    Ensure clear and consistent communication with Sales regarding proposal status, priorities, and client feedback
•    Keep teams informed on property developments, marketplace trends, and competitive dynamics within the sports sponsorship ecosystem

You Have
•    7 - 10 years media, sports, agency or related experience; Experience working in a client-facing role within a media company, advertising agency or League with exposure to sales marketing and campaign execution in network, digital and social preferred
•    Knowledge of sports media landscape- with special emphasis on soccer across all platforms
•    Detail oriented with great communication skills and presentation skills
•    Ability to think strategically in both the pre and post sales process
•    A positive, solutions-oriented, and success-driven attitude
•    Expertise in PowerPoint

Skills, Experience and Knowledge that help you stand out  
•    Advanced knowledge and passion for sports – specifically the soccer landscape 
•    Ability to move quickly between projects and look ahead to see and deal with potential problems 
•    Spanish speaking fluency and/or multi-cultural experience helpful, not required

Eligibility Requirements: 
•    This is an in-office position located in NYC
•    Must be open to travel 
•    Must be willing to submit to a background investigation 
•    Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States 
•    Must be willing to submit a writing sample and/or sample pitch deck for consideration

Salary: 
•    Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. 
•    Base pay Range - $100,000 to $120,000 + bonus +benefits
