Skills
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines with DBT
- Airflow experience creating DAGs and orchestration using Python
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses and lakes (Snowflake, Redshift, Postgres)
- Experience with Spark (Scala) for large-scale data processing
- Familiarity with AWS-managed databases and services
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to design for performance, scalability, and data quality
- Experience supporting reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, Chartio or similar)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/data pipeline solutions to populate the data warehouse
- Implement and optimize data models and transformations using DBT and Spark
- Orchestrate workflows and DAGs using Airflow and Python, ensuring reliability and performance
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Product Managers, and engineering teams to align data infrastructure with product and client requirements
- Manage and tune data systems in AWS (Snowflake, Redshift, Postgres) and implement infrastructure as code
- Test and monitor data pipelines for data quality, performance, and security, especially for sensitive healthcare data
- Support reporting and analytics tooling and provide data solutions for enterprise clients
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
