Business Intelligence Engineer II (Remote - US)

The Business Intelligence Engineer II is a key contributor to transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that inform strategy and improve operational outcomes. You will ensure data quality and consistency while optimizing reporting solutions for efficiency and accuracy. The position requires strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions. You will have the opportunity to impact organizational performance, collaborate with stakeholders across multiple domains, and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into functional BI solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau.
• Optimize existing reports and dashboards to improve data accuracy, visualization, and usability.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity in collaboration with the data management team.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and data queries to support timely decision-making.
• Stay up to date with BI best practices and emerging technologies to continually enhance reporting capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in BI report development with demonstrable work samples.
• Proficiency in BI tools, such as Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with Amazon AWS cloud platform.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in the healthcare domain with payers or providers is a plus.
