Financial Operations Manager
Skills
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, payments, and investment transaction flows
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing and treasury workflows
- Proven reconciliations and settlement systems experience
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting/treasury software
- Leadership, communication, and process improvement capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment and ensure compliance
Responsibilities
- Manage daily transaction workflows including wires, checks, internal transfers, and investment-related payments
- Process inbound/outbound wires, enter and allocate check batches, and handle chargebacks/NSF adjustments
- Perform daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reconciliations (bank, cash, transactions) and support month-end close
- Oversee write-offs, forfeitures, distributions, and ensure accurate documentation and controls
- Partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering to improve workflows, integrations, and automation
- Ensure financial processes comply with regulatory standards, internal policies, and audit requirements
- Manage, mentor, and develop members of the financial operations team and establish best practices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Series 99 registration required
- 5+ years of experience in financial operations, treasury, or similar roles (fintech preferred)
