The Electrical Engineering Technician group at Ultra supports the hardware development lifecycle and production of state-of-the-art sonobuoy products for the U.S. Navy and other navies around the world. This includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, developmental testing, support of final customer verification and validation, and production.Nationality Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Assist engineers in building, assembling, wiring, and testing electronic systems, modules, and prototypes for maritime defense applications.
Perform electrical testing, data collection, instrumentation setup, and troubleshooting of circuits and components.
Conduct verification, validation, and functional checks according to test plans and engineering procedures.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering drawings.
Document results, test setups, and system configurations using Ultra’s engineering and quality systems.
Maintain equipment, organize lab workspaces, and enforce safety and configuration control practices.
Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers to support project goals.
Participate in occasional travel (up to 15%) for field testing, training, and customer support.
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or a related technical degree.
Ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and engineering documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
U.S. Citizenship required and must be able to obtain a DoD clearance.
