Demand Generation – Senior Director

JOB SUMMARY

As the Demand Generation – Senior Director at UHY, you will lead the channel marketing team responsible for executing the firm’s marketing strategy. This newly created role is designed to bring strategic plans to life, overseeing a cross-functional team that includes digital, content, events, creative, and proposals. Acting as the operational hub of UHY’s functional marketing team, you will ensure the successful execution of firmwide initiatives that support brand awareness, business development, and recruiting.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Drive demand generation for our services lines and build brand awareness

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of marketing professionals to deliver integrated marketing campaigns

  • Translate strategic marketing plans into actionable, measurable deliverables

  • Oversee execution across digital marketing, content development, creative direction, events, sponsorships, and proposal generation

  • Act as the day-to-day leader of the internal agency model, optimizing workflows, timelines, and capacity

  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy to ensure alignment between strategic goals and implementation

  • Promote a high-performing, service-oriented culture within the marketing team

  • Measure team performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements to enhance delivery quality and speed

  • Maintain high standards for brand consistency, campaign effectiveness, and creative impact

  • Identify and develop key marketing processes while leveraging technology solutions—including marketing automation (Salesforce/Pardot), CRM (Salesforce), CMS, and AI—to enhance the impact and efficiency of integrated campaigns

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Will lead and supervise subordinate team members

Work environment

  • Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions

Physical demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

Travel required

  • Limited travel, as needed

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field

  • 15 – 20 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years leading a cross-functional team

  • Experience in an agency, internal agency environment or professional services organization

  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and creative production

  • Proven ability to lead complex marketing initiatives from concept to execution

  • Experience managing a team and cross-functional leadership 

Preferred education and experience

  • Background in B2B or professional services marketing

  • Familiarity with project management tools

For job postings in the state of NY, we are required by law to include a good faith salary range for every job, promotion, and transfer opportunity in accordance with the New York State Pay Transparency Law. This range considers many factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s knowledge, job specific skills, experience, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000.
