Senior ITSM Specialist

Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior ITSM Speicalist to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

• Leads the development and management of IT Service Management (ITSM) strategies, processes, and frameworks to drive efficient service delivery and alignment with mission objectives
• Focuses on designing, optimizing, and integrating ITSM processes across the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE), fostering operational excellence and interoperability
• Creates and maintains comprehensive ITSM processes, integrating best practices and ensuring seamless interoperability across the EIE
• Oversees the design and execution of IT service delivery processes, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management
• Collaborates with stakeholders to integrate ITSM processes with broader IT and business strategies
• Develops and maintains an accurate service catalog, reflecting current IT capabilities and supporting lifecycle management
• Documents and manages the IT current environment record to facilitate effective service management and decision-making
• Identifies and addresses inefficiencies in ITSM processes, reducing technical debt and enhancing service delivery
• Leverages data-driven insights to refine ITSM practices and improve mission effectiveness.     

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in ITSM roles supporting large-scale or DoD IT environments
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow in administrative or configuration role 
• In depth knowledge of ITIL frameworks, including implementation and lifecycle management 
• Experience developing process documentation, workflows, and training materials
• Familiarity with DoD IT environments and service delivery standards
• Strong communication and analytical skills     

Desired:

• Master’s degree in related field
• ITIL v4 Foundation (required or must obtain within 90 days)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Implementation Specialist
• Certifications in other ITSM platforms
• Experience supporting DoD environments
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, Agile, and Lean IT frameworks
• Knowledge of configuration Management, Asset Management, and CMDB governance
• Experience integrating ITSM with monitoring and orchestration tools        

Clearance:

• Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

• DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
• CompTIA Security+ CE
