Systems Administrator

Position Summary

MAG is seeking a Systems Administrator who will provide technical expertise and operational support to PaM Electronic Warfare Integration. This role is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliability and security of Programs of Record and associated systems. The contractor will work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory standards, including NIST, RMF, and other applicableThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing team with multiple opportunities for upward advancement supportingEW&C.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. System Administration:        •       Install, configure, and maintain systems and applications.        •       Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.

2. Security and Compliance:        •       Ensure systems are compliant with applicable security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, RMF).        •       Conduct vulnerability scans and implement remediation measures using approved Army 100ls (ACAS/Nessus, SwAT).        •       Manage user access controls, permissions, and account provisioning.

 

3. Incident Response and Troubleshooting:        •       Respond to and resolve system and network incidents in a timely manner.        •       Document incidents, root cause analyses, and resolutions.        •       Provide technical support to PaM EWI Cybersecurity staff.

 

4. Documentation and Reporting:        •       Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.        •       Generate reports security compliance, and incident resolution.

 

5. Collaboration and Communication:        •       Work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, software development, engineering, and project management.        •       Communicate technical issues and solutions effectivoly to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Requirements: MUST HAVE

 

Proficioney in operating systems such as Windows, Linux.

Experionce with virtualization and containorization.

Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53.RME, FedRAMP.]

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account managementStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Minimum 1 year experience.

Education and Certification Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $0 to $85000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
