Job Description
Join Trove Brands' Finance team to drive profitable growth through pricing, forecasting, and commercial finance analysis. This new, hands-on role offers broad exposure across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Pricing & Commercial Support
- Design and implement pricing strategies to maximize margin and growth.
- Provide real-time deal review, pricing models, and profitability validation for Sales.
- Support contract negotiations and new-product pricing with robust analysis.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication of customer profitability drivers.
- Forecasting & Planning
- Improve forecast accuracy and analyze promotion effectiveness with actionable recommendations.
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual planning and reporting cycles.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Assist month-/quarter-end close tasks and prepare board/brand analytics.
- Perform customer-, brand-, and SKU-level finance analysis (price-volume-mix, program profitability, cost-to-carry, SKU rationalization).
- Respond to Marketing P&L inquiries in a timely manner.
- Compliance & Controls
- Own royalty reporting, reconciliations, and contract compliance processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years’ finance experience in CPG or retail.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems, SQL and BI tools.
- Strong analytical skills; able to summarize complex data and work with imperfect inputs.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional partners.
- Syndicated data experience (Circana, IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, NPD) is a plus.
