Job Description

Trove Brands is seeking a motivated and analytical SEO Intern to join the Owala marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in search engine optimization and digital content strategy while supporting the brand’s visibility and performance across key channels.

Working closely with the Digital Marketing team, the SEO Intern will assist with keyword research, on-page optimization, technical audits, and content reporting. This internship is designed for candidates eager to learn the fundamentals of SEO and contribute to real projects that impact organic growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support SEO strategy and execution, including keyword research, metadata updates, and on-page optimization.
  • Assist in conducting technical SEO audits to identify site issues, broken links, and optimization opportunities.
  • Help track and report key SEO metrics such as rankings, traffic, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied across pages and campaigns.
  • Research search trends, competitor performance, and keyword opportunities to inform content planning.
  • Support content optimization for product pages, blog posts, and other digital assets.
  • Learn and assist with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush (or similar).
  • Participate in ongoing team meetings and training sessions to expand SEO knowledge and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, SEO, or digital content (internship or coursework accepted).
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles (keywords, ranking factors, and on-page optimization).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or other SEO tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
