Skills
- Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
- Hands-on experience with S-1 preparation and IPO coordination
- Proven SOX/internal controls experience
- Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite, Intacct) and ERP implementations
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities
Responsibilities
- Own and manage key areas of the monthly and quarterly close ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Prepare and review technical accounting memos on revenue, leases, business combinations, stock-based compensation, and other complex topics
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and SOX-ready internal controls
- Assess accounting implications of commercial transactions and partner with cross-functional teams
- Support external audit and coordinate financial reporting and disclosure processes
- Manage US and international tax filing requirements
- Drive system and process improvements to scale accounting operations and ERP implementations
- Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff to build a high-performing team
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA required
