Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Finance Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated After Sales Finance Senior Analyst to support our Service Parts & Accessories operations.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support Service Parts and Accessories operations with identification and assessment of revenue and profit enhancing opportunities through the use of Business Intelligence tools and to support Sales and Gross Margin forecasting and analysis.
Reporting to the After Sales Finance Manager, the person in this role will work across multiple departments, provide in-depth analysis of our Service Parts & Accessory business, and support the team’s objective for achievement of Toyota’s annual and multi-year profit objectives.
What you’ll be doing
Support Toyota & Lexus After Sales teams through in-depth analysis of sales trends to identify sales & profit opportunities
Report monthly sales and profit results, prepare variance analysis, understand and communicate internal and external business drivers
Create annual, quarterly, and long range sales and gross margin forecasts and narratives, and lead the discussion in forecast review meetings with executives
Provide monthly reports to key stakeholders containing sales and profitability trends and insights
Advise on and recommend pricing opportunities using statistical analysis and insights derived from business intelligence processes and tools
Lead cross functional projects, seek executive support, and influence change
Partner with key Operations Personnel on ad hoc decision support efforts for incremental profit analyses and development of decision support tools
Leverage new technologies to improve analytical capabilities to support operations and identify new opportunities for growth
Provide additional and other related financial planning and analysis support as needed
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related Business fields, or relevant work experience
Relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis, data analytics, accounting and/or related discipline
Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
Ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline and detail driven environment
Ability to use business intelligence tools to effectively analyze large datasets
Demonstrated ability to prepare effective presentations to business customers and influence behaviors to achieve performance improvements
Added bonus if you have
Experience with analytical tools (Tableau and Alteryx)
MBA / CMA / CPA
Understanding of the automotive industry
