Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Point of Sales of Insurance Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Dealer Program Consultant.
The Dealer Program Consultant will collaborate with Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) and Toyota Financial Services (TFS) personnel to strengthen the TIMS brand and educate facing counterparts. This position will utilize the relationships within the Toyota Brands to share the TIMS Product message and close dealership engagements; thereby increasing TIMS Insurance Products sales. The Dealer Program Consultant will:
Work with Dealer Acquisition & Sales Director to present the Partnership Referral program to Dealer management and convince them to join the Toyota Insurance Partners Program.
Lead full go-to-market process for Dealer partners and provide sustainment support post-launch including Partnership Agreements, internal systems set up, marketing materials delivery and installation, Dealer staff training, and payment processing.
Review Referral program performance with Dealer Acquisition & Sales Director to directly improve and achieve referral lead and sales KPI targets.
Work Collaboratively with Product Development & Digital Director and Marketing Sr. Manager to continuously improve Referral program performance.
Develop Dealer proformas to establish KPIs.
Review performance reports with Dealer partners and develop action plans for improvements to reach necessary KPIs.
Work with Marketing to coordinate marketing materials production, distribution and implementation.
Actively contact Dealer partners on a weekly basis to provide support and gain insights for program improvements.
What you’ll be doing
Enroll, launch, and maintain Dealer partners (70%)
Thoroughly understand and gain expertise on the Referral program components, their operation, and create SOPs to standardize launch, go to market, and sustainment phases.
Create individual dealer partner action plans.
Communicate and follow up with Dealer partners.
Create presentations and tools for the Referral program.
Ensure Marketing tools are launched and utilized at all partner dealers
Coordinate efforts between dealers-employed and TIMs employed agents to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment with company objectives.
Act as the primary source of contact for individual dealers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues
Travel to Dealer Partners to pitch, launch and support Dealer partners.
Maximize Dealer engagement with Marketing Kit.
Become the SME for the Toyota Insurance Referral Program.
Coach assigned Dealers to minimum level of 5 bound policies per month.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive performance and achieve revenue targets for the dealer agency
Reporting, Analytics, and Administration (20%)
Independently access performance data sources to regularly conduct research regarding Referral program performance.
Create best practices tools for Dealer partner launch process
Create education and reference tools for Dealer partners.
Review Monthly Dealer Programs Reports with Dealer Acquisition and Sales Director, Product Development & Digital Director and Marketing Sr. Manager and provide recommendations based on insights/results.
Manage Dealer partner payment process.
Develop Property and Casualty Insurance Expertise (10%)
Stay up to date on Insurance Industry and Carrier Trends.
What you bring
3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing with digital marketing experience
3-5 years of experience in an insurance angency or similar experience
Associate two-year college degree required
Ability to travel 50%-70% of the time
Strong organizational and management skills
Strong verbal, written and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external organizational team members.
Ability to build relationships with a broad audience both internal and external to Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) and Toyota Financial Services (TFS).
Experience with Microsoft office applications (PowerPoint, word etc.)
Working knowledge of Salesforce
Added bonus if you have
Four-year college degree (BA or BS) preferred
Active Insurance Property & Casualty License
Automotive Dealership experience
