Responsibilities
- Greet clients and pets, complete sign-in, and verify appointment details
- Answer inbound calls, schedule appointments, and handle prescription refill requests
- Make outbound reminder and follow-up calls
- Escort clients to exam rooms and relay information to clinical staff
- Process payments, manage invoicing, and handle basic billing tasks
- Communicate clearly about vaccines, procedures, lab tests, and basic veterinary topics
- Maintain a clean, organized, client-ready reception area and assist with occasional pet-related clean-up
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical or veterinary front-desk or receptionist role
