ThinkCERCA is seeking experienced educators in Florida to serve as Curriculum Reviewers, focusing on post-adoption review stages for ELA materials aligned to Florida B.E.S.T. Standards.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive reviews of instructional materials, ensure accuracy and alignment with standards, evaluate student/teacher resources, and provide constructive feedback to developers.
Skills: Experience in curriculum review, familiarity with Florida B.E.S.T. Standards, strong analytical and evaluative skills in ELA curriculum and pedagogy.
Qualifications: Educators who have recently participated in state curriculum reviews or transitioned from ELA leadership roles; must not be currently employed by districts conducting ELA adoptions.
Location: Tampa, FL
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $35 - $65 per hour.

ThinkCERCA has been approved for adoption by the Florida Department of Education for grades 6-12. We are seeking a group of very recent teachers to support the development of final review materials. Teachers currently employed in Florida districts conducting ELA adoptions are not eligible to participate in this review sprint.
We are seeking experienced educators and curriculum specialists to serve as Curriculum Reviewers for instructional materials aligned to the Florida B.E.S.T. (Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking) Standards. This role is focused on the post-adoption review stage, ensuring that marketing and implementation resources to accompany the curriculum are accurate, clear, fully aligned, instructionally sound, and ready for classroom implementation. Additionally, reviewers will ensure the materials we provide to adoption committees are comprehensive and easy to use.
Curriculum Reviewers will conduct a detailed evaluation of lessons, assessments, and teacher/student resources, identifying areas to highlight in presentations, ensuring adherence to standards, and verifying that all content meets the highest levels of accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.
We are particularly interested in educators who have recently participated in state reviews of assessment items and other aspects of curriculum review. The role is ideal for consultants who have recently transitioned out of district-based ELA leadership roles. Note, we will not be able to engage reviewers who are currently employed at any districts undergoing an adoption, as it would violate state and district adoption policies.
If an employer mentions a salary or salary range on their job, we display it as an "Employer Estimate". If a job has no salary data, Rise displays an estimate if available.
