Savvas Learning Company is seeking a Curriculum Specialist to support K-12 Literacy and Humanities education in California and Hawaii. This role involves building relationships with key educational decision-makers and providing sales support to enhance the adoption of Savvas' products and services.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include achieving revenue targets, delivering engaging presentations, maintaining customer relationships, providing training, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Skills: Candidates must possess deep K-12 knowledge, strong sales focus, excellent presentation abilities, collaboration skills, and a proactive attitude. Communication skills and proficiency in educational technology are also essential.
Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have at least 5 years of K-12 education experience, a bachelor's degree (master's preferred), and expertise in education theory and market trends in Literacy and/or Humanities. Experience with educational sales is desirable.
Location: This position is based in California and includes significant travel within the Pacific territory.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $70,000 - $100,000.
Savvas Learning Company is seeking a K-12 Literacy & Humanities Curriculum Specialist that will cover the our Pacific territory, which includes California and Hawaii. The Curriculum Specialist (CS) will work in close partnership with Curriculum Specialist Managers and Account Managers throughout the territory. As a Literacy/Humanities content specialist, the CS will partner directly with market sales and product management teams to support the sales process, from prospect to close, and to advance Savvas Learning Company products, services, and solutions in the Pacific market. To support this process, the Curriculum Specialist will develop and maintain ongoing relationships with school, state, regional, and/or district decision makers in the Midwest and share expertise in company offerings, pedagogy, and the competitive environment. Following the sales cycle, the Curriculum Specialist is also responsible for post-sales support and activation.
This position will be required to attend on-site customer meetings in California.
