- Strong knowledge of US state privacy laws (e.g., CPRA) and European privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience with legal issues in information security and digital advertising ecosystems.
- Ability to manage complex dataflows and interpret technical data privacy challenges.
- Excellent project management, collaboration, and consensus-building skills.
- Forward-thinking with strong judgment and ability to independently handle complex legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company’s global data governance program and compliance policies.
- Draft external privacy disclosures and internal data privacy documentation such as DPIAs and ROPAs.
- Advise Information Security on personal data matters, incident response, and security certifications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Trust & Safety, and data teams on privacy compliance.
- Support ongoing legal evaluation of evolving privacy laws including US and European regulations.
- Help design processes for internal information sharing and record-keeping related to personal data.
Education
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Bar membership in good standing in applicable state.
